CFAEP Volunteers required for an Invasive Plant Removal event.

Saturday September 24th 9am – 12pm

The event is located on the Little Wekiva River in association with The Wild and Scenic River Ambassador (DEP) and The Seminole Education, Restoration and Volunteer (SERV) Program. Volunteers will remove the invasive plant Hygrophila and other non-natives from the Little Wekiva River, to prevent the species from moving downstream into the Wekiva River.

Free lunch will be provided by our Sponsor AECOM after the event.

You will need clothes that can get wet, a towel and dry clothes. Water will be provided.

The Invasive Plant Removal will be located off Markham Woods Road, Longwood.
