amy guilfoyle, PRESIDENT
Amy Guilfoyle is a Regional Director for NV5 in Orlando, Florida. Amy received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida. She has 23 years’ experience performing and managing petroleum and hazardous waste site assessments; Phase I/II ESAs; remedial system installation/operation; NPDES permitting and compliance; and field sampling per FDEP Standard Operating Procedures. She has managed large, high-profile contamination assessments and remedial implementations at gas stations; commercial and industrial businesses; agricultural properties; and roadway projects. She has also been involved with various municipalities in assisting with the EPA Brownfields program to include grant writing, quarterly reporting, and conducting and supervising assessment and remediation activities.
Todd Hodgson, Board member
Todd Hodgson started his career in the environmental industry in 1992 and spent most of his career at Groundwater Protection, an environmental drilling contractor in the State of Florida. In his tenure at Groundwater Protection, he served as a Project Manager and advanced to become the General Manager and Vice President of Business Development. He is committed to deliver quality, integrity, creativity and responsiveness to every client on every project. It continues to be extremely important to him to form relationships with clients built on mutual trust and respect.
Josh Hirten, Conference chair/consultant
Joshua Hirten. P.G. is an Environmental Discipline Manager with CDM Smith, Inc. with over 25 years of experience. Mr. Hirten has conducted and managed environmental projects for public, private, and federal clients. His responsibilities have included operations, financial management, client development, project management, and technical oversight. He has developed assessment and remedial documents in accordance with the state and federal requirements. Mr. Hirten has led planning and management as part of emergency response efforts for large scale environmental responses. Mr. Hirten has developed and conducted Project Management training at over 20 locations globally. He received his BA - Geology from SUNY Buffalo and his MS -Geology from the University of Florida. Josh has served the organization as a CFAEP board member and President and continues to support the group as the Conference Chair.
Nicole WRight, Secretary
“Niki” Wright joined the Dewberry Engineers, Inc. Orlando team in early 2020 with a background in both environmental contamination and natural resources work. At Dewberry, Niki focuses on natural resources services for both transportation and other land development projects. She primarily conducts environmental due diligence investigations, wetland delineations and assessments, geographic information systems (GIS) analysis and mapping, protected species surveys, gopher tortoise relocations, and completes environmental permit packages for regulatory agencies. In her free time, Niki enjoys being outside on the water, hiking, spending time with family or friends, and trying new foods. As a member of CFAEP since starting her career after UCF graduation in 2015, Niki is eager to further contribute to CFAEP as an active board member.
Christy Cherrington, UCF Chapter Liaison
Christy Cherrington is an Ecologist at Ardurra Group, Inc. specializing in natural resources work for transportation projects. Her expertise includes listed species surveys, gopher tortoise relocations, wetland delineations and assessments, tree surveys, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis, environmental permitting, and NEPA documentation. Christy is a proud alumna of the University of Central Florida and has been a member of CFAEP since 2024. She is excited for the opportunity to work alongside the CFAEP board and the UCF student chapter.
John Lucarelli, Treasurer
John is a Business Development Manager with Alpha-Omega Training and Compliance, Inc. (AOTC), which is a Florida-based, Veteran-owned small business. AOTC specializes in Occupational Health & Safety Training and Compliance, Emergency Response, and Environmental Consulting Services. John has over 33 years of experience in spill response planning and cleanup mitigation. He also was an Industrial firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for 10 years. John has been an active member with CFAEP since 2014 and other various Environmental related organizations, such as the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Central Florida Chapter as well as the Alliance for Central Florida Safety (ACFS). John has held many leadership roles and offices and is looking forward to bringing those skills to CFAEP as a board member.
Erika Bocchino-Drew, Board Member
Erika Bocchino-Drew is the Public Outreach and Education Coordinator at Orange County (OC) Environmental Protection Division (EPD). Her responsibilities include creating and distributing environmental educational content for county wide events as well as tracking outreach for NPDES. Erika obtained her Bachelor of Science in Environmental science at the University of Central Florida but has spent the last several years teaching comprehensive science and high school biology with Orange County Public Schools (OCPS). Mrs. Drew is ambitus in her effort to extend her presence within the environmental profession and is prepared to contribute to CFAEP as an active board member.
Shannon boyle, Vice President
Shannon Boyle has an educational background in Biology with a Master’s Degree in Wildlife Forensic Science. At PSI, Shannon conducted environmental due diligences, such as Phase I ESAs, Listed Species Assessments, and Wetland Delineations. Now at Montrose, she also conducts Specific Species Assessments and works with FWC and USFWS when applicable. As a CFAEP board member, Shannon aspires to bring more awareness to this field and help create more opportunities to build a strong environmentally conscious community. Her hope is that with her combination of experience and will to learn, the board can bring more discussions for change to light.
Flormari Blackburn, Board Member
Flormari Blackburn is the Senior Engineer with RES Florida Consulting, LLC d/b/a E Sciences. At E Sciences. Flormari’s technical strengths are in Hazardous Waste Management, Environmental Compliance, Remedial Investigations, Remedial Engineering, Environmental Assessments, Initial Remedial Action plans and activities, due diligence, construction management, health and safety, operation and maintenance activities for remediation systems, long-term groundwater monitoring and regulatory reporting. Flormari graduated from the University of Florida with degrees in Chemical Engineering. She is currently a commissioner in the Orange County Environmental Protection Commission, has previously served as vice president of CFAEP, and is a mother of three young adults.
Blake M. Meinecke, Board Member
Blake has worked as an environmental scientist in both the public and private sectors for over 25 years. He has a B.S. in Limnology from the University of Central Florida, and currently holds a Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) certification from the Society of Wetland Scientists. Blake currently works for AtkinsRealis as a General Consultant to Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise in the Environmental Management Office. In his free time, Blake enjoys cave diving, home brewing, motorcycles, fishing and surfing. Before moving back to Orlando, Blake served 2 terms as a TBAEP Board Member. By serving on the CAFEP board, he looks forward to the opportunity to continue finding ways to strengthen relationships in the Environmental Professional community and help more people get a start in our field.
Alexis Seecharan, Board Member
Alexis is project manager with Kleinfelder with over 10 years of experience in the environmental consulting field and has been a member of CFAEP since 2018. She specializes in environmental permitting, land management, environmental compliance, wetland and mitigation monitoring, and listed species regulations. She is proud to provide advisory and permitting services to a wide client base. She has her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology from the University of Central Florida and is an FWC Authorized Gopher Tortoise Agent. Additionally, Alexis is one of few individuals in the state authorized by the FWC to train others on gopher tortoise surveying, trapping, and relocation methods. If elected Alexis is committed to promoting the growth of CFAEP across all environmental disciplines and forging long-lasting professional relationships.
